Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our team. As an Electronics Assembler, you will perform basic and routine electronic assembly operations and wiring on components or subassemblies. You will assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and chassis to meet production schedules and performance standards.

Responsibilities
  • Use Operational Method Sheets, drawings, schematics, electronic assembly equipment, and verbal/written instructions to assemble, modify, rework, or re-assemble units.
  • Work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature.
  • Recognize nonconformities and communicate openly and effectively in a professional manner.
  • Understand and follow all safety requirements and ISO practices and procedures.
  • Maintain fixturing, perform calibration, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
  • Perform wiring and consider the impact of quality on customers when making decisions.
Work Environment

You will work in a manufacturing environment that may be noisy and fast-paced. Many tasks are repetitive in motion and include the use of electronic assembly equipment. Overtime may be required in times of increased production or service repairs.

Physical Requirements
  • Standing: 40% approx.
  • Walking: 20% approx.
  • Sitting: 40% approx.
  • Pushing: 50 LBS
  • Pulling: 50 LBS
Qualifications
  • Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions.
  • Wiring skills are required.
  • Ability to perform basic electro/mechanical assembly skills.
  • Component identification and the ability to read technical assembly documentation are required.
  • Basic PC knowledge is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
Experience
  • Experience in electro/mechanical assembly, including wiring, is required.
  • Proven ability and experience maintaining flexibility and being able to adapt in a team environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ESD practices are required.
Education
  • High school education or equivalent is required.
Compensation

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors, including skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $ to $ per year.
