Your Key Responsibilities- Design, simulate, and optimize electric motors (eMotors).
- Evaluate and select electric machine architectures and topologies based on thermal and electromagnetic characteristics.
- Design eMotors based on targeted cost and manufacturing processes.
- Apply electromagnetic physics principles to eMotor design.
- Model vibration characteristics of motors.
- Apply advanced knowledge of eMotor controls and measurements to simulate and correlate designs.
- Communicate results and recommendations verbally and in reports.
- Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering-related field and one year of applicable experience.
- Ability to learn and apply mechanical, thermal, and electromagnetic principles to electric motor design.
- Applicable engineering and physics knowledge.
- Salary range: $75,000 - $120,000.
- Hiring Bonus: $500 after 90 days, $1000 after 180 days.
- Hybrid work schedule.
- 6% 401(k) company match.
