Job Summary:
Trinity Health Corporation seeks a skilled Medical Coding Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for accurate coding of inpatient conditions and procedures, working from the appropriate documentation in patient health records.

About the Role:
In this challenging and rewarding position, you will analyze physician/provider documentation to determine principal diagnoses, secondary diagnoses, and procedures. You will utilize encoder software applications and online tools to assign ICD diagnosis and procedure codes accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate coding of inpatient conditions and procedures
- Analysis of physician/provider documentation to determine diagnoses and procedures
- Utilization of encoder software applications and online tools

Requirements:
- Associates Degree or equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
- 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
- Certified Coding Specialist (AHIMA), Certified Coding Specialist Physician Based (AHIMA), or Certified Professional Coder (AAPC) certification required
