Position Overview:

The Pharmacometric Analyst is responsible for executing sophisticated pharmacometric modeling and statistical evaluations to bolster laboratory and clinical research initiatives. This role involves independently managing project-related tasks and employing both conventional and innovative data analysis methodologies. Additionally, the Analyst will contribute to the preparation of manuscripts to share modeling outcomes in peer-reviewed journals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pharmacometric expertise to researchers across designated collaboration areas, ensuring comprehensive execution of pharmacometric and statistical analyses for basic, translational, and clinical studies.
  • Assist in data acquisition for modeling purposes and ensure data integrity prior to analysis.
  • Design, oversee, and implement quality control protocols for both clinical and preclinical research data, developing effective methods to validate pharmacometric research findings.
  • Prepare pharmacometric results for presentations, posters, and scholarly publications, potentially serving as a co-author or primary author on relevant publications.
  • Provide training and education in pharmacometric techniques to designated individuals as assigned by supervisors.
  • Perform additional duties as required to achieve departmental and institutional objectives.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, or computer science with advanced training in pharmacometrics or quantitative systems biology modeling is essential.
  • A Master's degree or PhD in mathematics, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline with advanced training in pharmacometrics is preferred.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in pharmacometrics, biostatistics, or a related research field is required; three years of experience is acceptable with a PhD.
  • Familiarity with standard pharmacometric and statistical methodologies, software, and study design is advantageous.
