Position Overview
We are in search of a motivated professional with extensive experience in finance, accounting, and team leadership to join our organization as the Finance and Commissions Manager. This key position is essential for ensuring the precision and promptness of daily financial operations and generating financial and KPI reports for the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the creation and submission of financial statements to local management and our parent organization.
  • Manage the month-end, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Ensure accounting ledgers and records comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for accurate transaction documentation.
  • Guide and mentor finance, accounting, and commissions personnel to ensure effective and precise completion of financial tasks.
  • Collaborate with the executive team on annual budgeting and strategic planning to align with the company's objectives.
  • Conduct internal audits of financial processes and documentation, implementing necessary improvements.
  • Supervise critical commission systems that facilitate timely payments to our nationwide network of insurance agents.
  • Post payroll and commission data into the accounting system for contractors and employees.
  • Manage bi-weekly payroll processing through systems operated by our parent organization.
  • Generate and analyze commission and payroll reports for executive review.
  • Assist with escalated inquiries from field agents regarding incentives and commissions.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines as a collaborative team member and leader.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution.
  • CPA and MBA qualifications are highly regarded.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, and leadership roles.
