DevSecOps Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team at Leidos. As a member of our EDAT program, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies to support USSOCOM's global network.
In this position, you will work closely with development, IT, and security teams to incorporate security controls and standards into every phase of the software development lifecycle.
You will develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automating testing, deployment, and monitoring processes to enhance the speed and reliability of software delivery.
Additionally, you will ensure that pipelines are aligned with the program goals, DoD standards, and USSOCOM mission requirements.
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams to implement best practices in DevSecOps.
- Develop and maintain secure software delivery practices.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes.
- Ensure compliance with DoD security frameworks, including DISA STIG, NIST 800-53, and Zero Trust principles.
- Identify and resolve issues to maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging tools to recommend and integrate enhancements to DevSecOps processes.
