We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Preventionist Registered Nurse to join our team at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.

• Develop and implement effective infection prevention and control programs to prevent the development and transmission of communicable diseases and infections.
• Conduct regular assessments of our facility to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest infection prevention and control guidelines and best practices.

• Two years of professional nursing experience in a healthcare facility.
• Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• Active certification in Infection Control (CIC) or Long-Term Care Certification in Infection Prevention (LTC-CIP).
