Savage is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting petroleum coke from our customers' facilities to destination locations.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation: Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport petroleum coke to designated locations.
- Equipment Operation: Operate end dump trailers at customer destinations.
- Customer Service: Assist in additional tasks to meet customer expectations.
- Maintenance: Timely and accurately report maintenance issues to the maintenance crew.
- Qualifications: Current Class A CDL, TWIC card, and high school diploma required.
- Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, as well as work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Physical Demands: Ability to climb into and out of the cab multiple times per shift, climb a ladder and steps 10 or more times a day, and lift 50 or more pounds daily while climbing steps.
- Local Work: Opportunity to work locally with home time every day or night.
- Shifts: 8-12 hour shifts available.
- Fleet: Drive a fleet with the majority of trucks less than 4 years old.
- Allowance: $150 annual steel toe boot allowance.
- Uniforms: Uniforms provided with laundry service.
