Position Summary:
The Packaging Scale Technician is responsible for the operation and upkeep of filling scales, sewing machinery, conveyors, and related equipment. This role involves accurately filling products into bags while monitoring net weight and ensuring proper sealing. The technician plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and safety of packaging materials, as well as ensuring product quality throughout the packaging process. Responsibilities include:

1. Monitoring product counts and the visual appeal of packaged goods.
2. Manually stacking and wrapping finished products.
3. Documenting weight checks, verifying labels and product details, and recording lot codes.

Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient in basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Willingness to work at heights of up to 30 feet.
- Capability to lift weights up to 100 pounds.
- Flexibility to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the workday.
- Adaptability to varying temperature conditions for extended periods.
- Stamina to stand and walk for long durations.
- Openness to training for basic machine maintenance.
