Job Title: RF Test Technician

We are seeking a skilled RF Test Technician to join our team at XP Power. As a key member of our Quality Repairs team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of our RF products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and repair RF products, including RF Generators, DC Power Supplies, and RF Matching equipment.
  • Collaborate with test engineering to resolve customer field issues and provide feedback to design and manufacturing teams.
  • Diagnose and document product failures, and rework and test RF sub-components and final electronic products.
  • Record failure data and test issues in databases, and work with quality engineers to document product repair changes.
  • Prepare detailed reports of RMA findings, documenting results, methods, and equipment used.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years' experience as a test technician.
  • Associates Degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Experience testing and diagnosing electronic products, power supplies, and related products.
  • Ability to work from electrical schematics, change notices, and use standard electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Intermediate level skill with Excel for data collection and analysis.
