As a Registered Nurse in our Acute Neurology Epilepsy Stroke unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to a variety of complex patients, including those with acute neurology and epilepsy conditions.
- Manage care and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients, their families, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Seek and provide feedback for improved clinical practice, and assume a beginning leadership role while seeking mentoring in this process.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
- 1 year of relevant experience.
- Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
- Premium paid part-time and full-time positions available.
- Travel allowance may be available for eligible employees traveling greater than 75 miles one way.
- Enhanced compensation for weekend shifts.
