Job Summary:

The Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating adult patients with mental health conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose adult patients with mental health conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Conduct regular patient evaluations and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in the electronic health record
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry or the American Osteopathic Board of Psychiatry
  • Completion of a Psychiatry residency and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of York Hospital
