Job Summary

This position requires the assembling of various machine parts according to instructions and within a specific timeframe, utilizing the appropriate tools and/or equipment according to safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards, identifying product defects, and completing appropriate documentation when defects are identified.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately perform the General Assembly and Wiring portion of the Press Brake Assembly process.
  • Train other employees how to perform Sub Assembly and Ship Prep portion of Press Brake Assembly.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • May be required to climb using a safety harness or ladder up to 16' feet tall.
  • May be required to work beyond normal business hours when necessary.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised at times.
  • Must adhere to all safety policies and wear required PPE.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Sit Down Forklift and Overhead Crane experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to use the metric system.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to use Hand and Power Tools.
  • Previous heavy equipment/machinery assembly experience.
Work Environment

Climate Controlled year round, Low noise decibel levels.

Job Type

Full-time.

Pay

$22.00 per hour.

Expected Hours per Week

10 hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday, No nights, No weekends.
