Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Tri-County Child and Family. As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of our youngest children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging curriculum to meet the needs of all children, including at-risk, special needs, and culturally diverse populations.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective program.
• Communicate effectively with families to promote engagement and support.

Requirements:

• A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable credential, and have been trained or have equivalent coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development.
• No prior experience is necessary, but a preference is given to those with two years of experience in an early childhood classroom.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suites, and database systems.
• Valid Iowa Driver's License and ability to be insured under agency policy.
• Must be cleared and allowed to work in a childcare setting by the Iowa Department of Human Services.
