Job Summary:

The Cardiology Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, educating patients and families, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery. You will work closely with our board-certified physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
  • At least one year of experience in a cardiovascular or critical care setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
