Job Summary

The Crib Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining the inventory of tools and equipment, assisting employees with tool requests, and conducting regular inventory checks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pull tools requested by automatic CribMaster report from vending machines and verify their accuracy.
  • Label tools and replenish vending machines as needed.
  • Receive new and regrind tools daily, checking part numbers against packing lists and expected deliveries.
  • Organize received tools in the appropriate bins and update CribMaster records.
  • Assist employees with tool requests from the main crib throughout the day.
  • Report excessive tool usage and perform daily cycle counts of inventory items.
  • Participate in the annual full inventory count.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Working Conditions

This role is performed in a manufacturing environment, requiring the ability to operate production equipment and wear safety protective equipment as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should have experience with production machining equipment and processes, as well as the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. A high school diploma is required.
