Job Description:">

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of specifications for both existing and newly developed materials.
  • Support the creation and implementation of new material products and technologies from concept and lab scale to full production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve current technical body preparation processes and operate equipment effectively.
  • Diagnose and resolve material quality issues with both internal and external powder suppliers.
  • Facilitate workflow improvements by applying lean methodologies and 5S principles.
  • Coordinate and establish processes and protocols for producing new materials.
  • Aid in the creation, documentation, and implementation of the transfer of developmental material technologies from lab scale to production.

Required Skills and Qualifications:">

  • Bachelor's degree in Ceramics, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in raw material testing and its technical aspects.
  • Extensive experience in producing and testing ceramic and sintered compositions using recognized material science and analytical techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, and Word.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities with a capacity to make logical and timely decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Above-average mechanical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with fundamental analytical testing equipment in the materials sector.
  • Capable of working with and supervising team members.
  • Ability to work independently with self-motivation and adaptability to diverse tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills with effective prioritization and time management.
  • Skilled in building mutual respect and confidence among colleagues.
  • Dependable and committed to achieving management-set goals.
  • Work ethic with a willingness to exceed expectations.

  • A strong background in materials science and engineering.
  • Experience with ceramic and sintered composition production and testing.
  • Knowledge of lean methodologies and continuous improvement principles.

What We Offer:">

  • An estimated salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
