Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Towing Port Engineer to join our team at Kiewit Corporation. This role will be responsible for managing all maintenance, repairs, and modifications for assigned equipment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in heavy construction equipment field, including 3+ years of experience with cranes and 3+ years of supervisory experience.

The successful candidate will ensure assigned personnel and equipment are in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. They will also establish and implement preventative and routine maintenance procedures, act as a technical advisor to ensure maintenance and repairs are completed correctly and safely, and supervise all assigned maintenance personnel.

In addition, the Towing Port Engineer will evaluate maintenance personnel and develop their technical skills, monitor schedule and budget on active equipment work, collect and maintain equipment records, and assist the Sr. Equipment Superintendent to prepare and submit maintenance and capital budgets for assigned equipment.

This is a full-time position based out of Covington, LA, with frequent jobsite visits and inspections required. The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
