Job Summary:

The Direct Care Worker (DCW) plays a vital role in our team, providing personalized care and support to our clients. As a DCW, you will be responsible for assisting clients with various personal care and homemaker/companion services, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care activities
  • Provide companionship and respite services to clients and their families
  • Perform homemaking activities, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Assist clients with medication management, under the supervision of a registered nurse

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current CPR certification
  • Successful completion of a state-approved Direct Care Worker or Home Health Aide course
  • Listing in good standing on the Pennsylvania Aide Registry
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
