Nurse Endoscopist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN Endoscopy Specialist to join our team at Northwell Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced endoscopy unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and plan care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, including pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized patient education plans to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
- At least 1 year of experience in endoscopy or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
