About the Role

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant Trainee to join our team at Living Legends Health. As a CNA Trainee, you will play a vital role in supporting our nursing staff and residents.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the State-approved 100-hour Nurse Aide Training Program or have completed the program and are waiting to take the clinical and written evaluations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific developmental factors specific to adult and geriatric residents in planning care delivery.
  • Attend all mandatory in-services by employee's anniversary date.
  • Act appropriately under the direction of the In-service Coordinator or Charge Nurse and act as an active member of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate ability to adjust to changes in units/shift assignments to meet resident and facility needs.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program when performing work functions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • No findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment, and misappropriation of property.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions and work well with and show respect towards fellow staff members, physicians, residents, and family members.
  • Caring and compassionate bedside manner.
  • Respect for residents' privacy and rights; display of genuine concern for the elderly.
  • Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and kindness.
  • Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
