Job Description

The Director of Digital Development will oversee the design, development, and testing of all layers of our digital experiences, including web and mobile apps. You will supervise and coordinate team activities to meet company prioritized project schedules and user agreed upon deadlines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze opportunities and recommend course of action for improvement in technology, functionality, and/or performance
  • Supervise, develop, and evaluate direct reports to maintain relevancy with industry-wide best practices and trends
  • Direct procedures, processes, and standards for deployment management, defect management, go-live management
  • Work closely with Architecture and DevOps for the creation of continuous integration and delivery pipelines for responsible digital properties
  • Establish application monitoring, support management, and escalation practices for n-tier support

You will also ensure that solutions designed and developed by the team are secure, scalable, cost-effective, and compliant with applicable standards.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent background
  • 10+ years of relevant technology experience, including mobile application and website development
  • 5+ years working with agile software delivery teams (preferred)
  • A successful track record of delivering technology projects of very high complexity
  • Strong analytical skills, including root cause and impact analysis
  • Demonstrated advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PPT, Excel, and Project

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
