Job Description

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soar Autism Center. As an SLP, you will be responsible for conducting assessments to identify speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD.

You will develop and execute detailed treatment plans aimed at improving the communication abilities of children aged 2-6, employing a diverse array of therapeutic techniques and instruments.

You will collaborate extensively with our multidisciplinary team, including behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care.

You will actively involve families in the treatment process by providing them with education, resources, and support to foster their child's speech and language development.

You will regularly evaluate and document the progress of each child, fine-tuning interventions as necessary to maximize effectiveness.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
  • License to practice speech pathology in the state of your chosen center (i.e., Arizona or Colorado)
  • Preference to SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but also open to new SLPs starting their career
  • Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams
  • Embody a playful spirit and the ability to connect and engage with young children
