Position Overview:

The Healthcare Support Assistant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care within our esteemed medical facility. This position is designed for individuals who are dedicated to enhancing the well-being of patients and supporting healthcare professionals in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
The Healthcare Support Assistant will be responsible for a variety of patient care tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs.
  • Providing compassionate support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborating with licensed healthcare staff to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Prior experience in a customer service or patient care role is preferred.

Certifications:
Successful candidates will be required to obtain BLS certification during the orientation process.

Physical Requirements:
This position demands the ability to walk significant distances and lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high-stress situations effectively.
