Server Assistant

As a Server at Conrad's Crabs, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide attentive and friendly service, ensuring that every guest feels valued and satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Welcoming guests and escorting them to their tables.
2. Presenting menus and answering questions about menu items.
3. Taking accurate food and beverage orders from guests.
4. Entering orders into the POS system and ensuring timely delivery to the kitchen or bar.
5. Delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
6. Checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction and addressing any concerns.
7. Anticipating guests' needs and fulfilling them proactively.
8. Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless operations.
9. Processing payments accurately and efficiently.
10. Cleaning and setting up dining areas before, during, and after service.
11. Following all safety and sanitation procedures.
12. Upselling menu items and promoting specials.
13. Assisting with opening and closing duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. 1-2 years of previous experience required.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
4. Strong attention to detail.
5. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
6. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
7. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
8. Knowledge of food and beverage pairings is a plus.
9. Must adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
10. Food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 25 pounds.
2. Ability to bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
3. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
