We are seeking part-time and on-call Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services at our Nevada Community Enrichment Program (NCEP) in Las Vegas, NV.
Responsibilities:- Provide occupational therapy services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors, and veterans.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Use assistive technology and adaptive equipment to support individuals with disabilities.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records.
- Master's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
- Current, valid Certificate of Registration as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant or eligibility for such registration.
- State of Nevada Board of Occupational Therapy License or eligibility for licensure through the State Licensure procedure.
- One year of experience working with severely disabled populations, with prior experience in day treatment and/or residential programs for individuals with traumatic brain injuries a plus.
- Terrific work environment and client-oriented therapy setting.
