Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant I to join our multidisciplinary translational science laboratory. The successful candidate will support the generation and analysis of single-cell/genomic data related to multiple ongoing projects in the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under moderate supervision, set up, conduct experiments, and continue research projects following established protocols.
  • Utilize open-source software tools for single-cell/genomic analysis and assist with management of genomic datasets.
  • Compile and communicate results to supervisor and contribute to the development of new research projects.
  • Ensure Laboratory is prepared for experiments, maintain inventories, and maintain sterile conditions as required.
  • Prepare reagents, clean equipment, and perform calculations involving molarity, % solutions, and serial dilutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
