Key Responsibilities:
As the Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will:
  • Conduct routine upkeep of grounds, parking areas, and driveways, including tasks such as cutting, trimming, sweeping, and cleaning.
  • Supervise Housekeeping & Laundry staff.
  • Perform various maintenance tasks including plumbing, plastering, electrical work, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
  • Replace light bulbs, clean windows, and assist in lifting heavy equipment and supplies.
  • Service heating and cooling systems.
  • Coordinate daily maintenance activities with nursing services in resident living areas.
  • Ensure the facility and its equipment are maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
  • Foster an environment of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm, cheerful atmosphere.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of supervisory experience in maintenance.
  • Knowledge of maintenance practices, procedures, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with boilers, compressors, generators, and various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Experience in maintaining facilities such as nursing homes, apartment complexes, or business facilities.
  • A commitment to minimizing waste of supplies and preventing misuse of equipment.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
