Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately measures and prepares ingredients according to Ojos Locos recipe specifications.
  • Washes and peels ingredients to ensure they are ready for various meal preparations.
  • Cuts and portions different types of meat in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Monitors ingredient quantities to ensure sufficient stock for daily and weekly needs.
  • Stores ingredients in designated containers to maintain optimal preservation.
  • Alerts supervisors when ingredient supplies are low or when kitchen equipment is malfunctioning.
  • Cleans and sanitizes work surfaces, tools, utensils, and the overall kitchen area.
  • Monitors food temperatures and the conditions of cooling areas to ensure ingredients are stored at safe temperatures.
Qualifications and Experience
  • High School Diploma is preferred, with flexibility to work varied shifts including late hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
Skills and Requirements

• Food handler certification is mandatory.

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential for effective communication.
