Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our Long Island location. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and driving the overall success of the venue, including guest services, food and beverage, training, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the owner and direct reports to achieve business objectives
  • Coach and develop a large and diverse team through clear communication and leadership
  • Manage all facets of the operation, including regular financial reporting and budgeting
  • Establish and uphold RPM standards and compliance
  • Create and implement strategies for business growth and development
  • Oversee labor and spending for the entire venue, within RPM's guidelines
  • Track all spending and ensure it is accounted for and in accordance with RPM's policies
  • Develop the team by establishing profitability goals and rewarding positive behavior
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team in a hospitality, entertainment, or food and beverage environment
  • Food safety or alcohol certification required
  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
  • Strong leadership qualities, including organization and time management
  • Able to recruit, motivate, develop, retain, and promote top talent through thoughtful leadership and genuine concern for team member growth
  • Workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment with constant distractions
  • Move about the venue and stand for long periods of time
  • Lift and carry over 50 pounds regularly
  • Achieve budgeted financial results in areas of responsibility
  • Act as a mentor and lead by strong example
  • Maintain a professional image
