Job Title: Assistant, Associate, or Professor in Psychiatry

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced psychiatrist to join our team as an Assistant, Associate, or Professor in Psychiatry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical care, teaching, and research in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with psychiatric disorders
  • Teach and mentor students, residents, and other health professionals
  • Conduct research in the field of psychiatry and publish scholarly articles
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities
Requirements:
  • M.D./D.O. degree or equivalent
  • Completion of residency in Psychiatry
  • Board eligible/board certified in Adult Psychiatry by the American Psychiatric Association
  • Current licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure, to practice medicine in the state of Kentucky
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in providing psychiatric services
  • Experience in teaching medical students, residents, and other health professionals
