Role Overview

Our Termite Control Technicians play a crucial front-line role, embodying the essence of our service. This position focuses on delivering exceptional service through Terminix products to our valued clientele.

A Typical Day in This Role

Equipped with a company vehicle and comprehensive industry training, our Termite Technicians engage with residential clients, performing requested termite treatments in the neighborhoods we serve. Here are some key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring job specifications align with each work order
  • Preparing sites for treatment
  • Administering anti-termite treatments to structures in accordance with safety protocols and product instructions
  • Engaging with customers to explain the services rendered
  • Completing documentation of services provided

Qualifications for Success

  • A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are essential
  • Prior experience in the industry is beneficial but not mandatory. More importantly, you should possess:
  • A personable demeanor and enjoyment in customer interactions
  • Self-motivation and a strong work ethic
  • The ability to effectively communicate information to customers individually and in small groups
  • A keen attention to detail and an understanding of safety protocols
  • A basic aptitude for mathematics necessary for service-related calculations
  • Comfort with outdoor work and confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics
  • For safety reasons, our Termite Technicians must be clean-shaven to ensure proper equipment fit

Position Requirements

  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and gain knowledge in pest management
  • Comfortable working independently after a training period

Base Pay Range: $21.83 per hour

In addition to the base pay, a colleague in this role who has completed training may qualify for additional compensation, including overtime, incentives, and/or commission pay. Total annual earnings may vary based on performance, assigned routes, and achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
