Senior Geoscientist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Hydrogeologist to join our team at ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of groundwater resource projects, collaborating with senior hydrogeologists and mentoring junior staff members.

• This position requires daily management of all phases of complex environmental projects independently.
• You will be responsible for preparing project proposals and budgets, writing technical project reports, and performing project invoicing.
• Excellent communication and writing skills are essential for this role, as you will need to interact with clients, train junior staff, and assist senior staff as assigned.

• Supporting a wide range of groundwater resource projects, including high-yield supply well installation and testing, mining dewatering evaluations, and groundwater resource assessments.
• Assisting with all aspects of a project, including marketing, proposal preparation, project management, field work, data analysis, numerical modeling, map preparation, and technical reporting.
• Working with governmental, municipal, industrial, and commercial clients.
• Completing field evaluation work, including groundwater sampling, aquifer testing, well logging, subcontractor oversight, surface geophysics, and surface water monitoring.
• Conducting office work, including data analysis, client and subcontractor coordination, proposal preparation, assistance with numerical groundwater models, map preparation, and technical reporting.

• 10+ years of related experience.
• MS in Hydrogeology or a related field, such as Geology or Environmental Engineering, is preferred.
• Licensed Professional Geologist required.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, GIS, AQTESOLV, and MODFLOW.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, as well as a commitment to continued learning.
