Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:

TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team as a travel CT Technologist. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
  • Administer contrast agents as needed to enhance image quality
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography (CT)
  • 1-2 years of experience in CT scanning or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
