Lead Teacher

Kiddie Academy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Development Specialist to lead our infant and toddler education program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a love for children, with a strong background in early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in preschool-aged children.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment that fosters a love of learning and encourages children to explore and discover.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience for all children.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that reflects the Academy's high standards.

Requirements:

• Child Development Certificate (CDA) or equivalent.
• Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree, or 60 college credits including 6 ECE.
• Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet educational objectives.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with children on their level.
