Position Overview:
The Intensive Care RN is responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in critical condition. Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, the RN will provide care in a highly technical environment, administering medications and therapies as prescribed.

The role includes:
  • Monitoring and documenting patient conditions, communicating effectively with the care team
  • Assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Providing education to patients and families tailored to their needs
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations

As a critical care nurse, you will also:
  • Support physicians in assessing patients and implementing treatment plans
  • Oversee patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly
  • Exhibit leadership qualities by working effectively with all staff members

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of one year of critical care experience preferred
  • Current Arizona Registered Nurse Licensure required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential
