Janitorial Specialist

Bongards Creameries is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our production facilities, offices, and common areas.

• Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including lunchrooms, bathrooms, and production areas
• Operate a forklift and maintain a valid license
• Perform floor scrubbing and other cleaning tasks as assigned
• Maintain the perimeter of the plant and all locker rooms
• Change rugs as necessary and perform other duties listed on the janitorial Master Sanitation Schedule
• Assist with plastic recycling and cardboard collection at the retail store
• Stock shelves from the chemical cage and take out garbage
• Clean the QC and Tech Services lab and perform other duties as assigned

• Excellent communication skills and ability to read and follow written instructions
• Ability to adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, and other quality guidelines
• Valid driver's license and ability to be certified to drive a company vehicle
• Ability to report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or designated replacement

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 40 pounds
