Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment failures and customer home comfort issues. You will also be required to maintain required levels of truck stock items and advise the Service Manager or Service Dispatcher when assigned projects begin to fall behind average repair times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair HVAC Equipment: Properly diagnose and repair HVAC/R equipment to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a high level of work quality.
  • Explain Services and Policies: Clearly explain services and policies to customers prior to diagnostic and repair to ensure transparency and build trust.
  • Charge and Collect for Work Performed: Charge and collect for all work performed in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Complete Paperwork: Complete paperwork daily in the dispatch program, recording all hours and materials used on each job before leaving the site.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that customers are satisfied with the services rendered before leaving the site.
  • Maintain a Clean Work Area: Keep the entire work area neat and organized and free of scrap and debris.
  • Provide Maintenance Contract Information: Provide customers with information on the company's maintenance contracts.
  • Perform Other Duties as Assigned: Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Service Dispatcher.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Good Mechanical Skills: Possess good mechanical skills and be able to diagnose and repair HVAC equipment.
  • Good Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills and be able to clearly explain services and policies to customers.
  • Background Check: Be willing to undergo an MVR and background check.
  • Authorized to Work in the U.S.: Be authorized to work in the U.S.
