Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist to provide skilled speech therapy services in a long-term care setting.

The successful candidate will work within an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective plans of care for patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs, develop, and modify care plans to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
  • Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders, teaching patients how to make sounds, improve their voices, or increase oral or written language skills to communicate effectively.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to set realistic and achievable goals for patients, enabling them to fulfill educational, vocational, and social roles.
  • Document patient progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.

Requirements:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • A current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist or actively pursuing licensure.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • An SLP-CCC (Certified Clinical Competence) designation.
