Job Title: Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Direct Support Professional. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnoses in our residential group homes and community settings.

About the Role:

As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing individualized support and care to our clients, promoting their independence, and empowering them to live meaningful lives. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement personalized support plans, ensuring that each client receives the highest level of care and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support and care to adults with intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnoses
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to promote independence and empowerment
  • Work closely with the team to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Participate in mandatory trainings and staff meetings
  • Travel to various locations to provide support services

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High-school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Able to pass a criminal history background check
  • Current/valid Maine driver's license and insurable
  • Able to attend all mandatory trainings and staff meetings

Shift Availability:

Full Time 3rd Shift Availability; every other weekend off

8p-8a and 10pm to 8am every other weekend off- Monday thru Friday except on the Every other weekend
