About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Stewart's Shops. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our refrigeration and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on refrigeration and HVAC equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with refrigeration and HVAC systems, using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Work with minimal supervision, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and that maintenance tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work as needed to support maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in refrigeration and HVAC maintenance, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a strong sense of safety and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with others.
