Job Summary:

As a valued member of the Pipeline Health System, LLC team, the Certified Nursing Assistant - Patient Care Specialist will provide high-quality patient care services under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role involves performing individually assigned patient care activities based on established patient care policies, procedures, state, federal, and regulatory board requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor patient vitals and provide patient hygiene and comfort measures
  • Assist with medical procedures and fulfill nutritional needs
  • Contribute to department operations and communications
  • Behave in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Pipeline Health System, LLC
Requirements:
  • At least six (6) months prior experience as a CNA within the hospital setting preferred
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, strong organizational skills, and ability to follow verbal instructions
  • PC (computer) skills and ability to learn, synthesize, and make critical judgments
Licensure/Certifications:
  • CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) issued by licensing/certifying board in state of employment
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA (American Heart Association)
  • AB508 (Management of Assaultive Behavior, MAB) required
