Job Summary

Spectrum Healthcare Partners is seeking a skilled Orthopaedic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our orthopedic department, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians in the treatment of patients requiring immobilization or mobilization devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians in the use of immobilization or mobilization devices
  • Provide optimal patient care and ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction
  • Work effectively under stress or emergency situations
  • Articulate descriptions of orthopedic conditions based on knowledge of anatomical structures and their relationship with one another
  • Apply and remove upper and lower extremity casts and splints

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate in Orthopedic technician training from a technical school or community college desired
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification of Orthopedic Technologist (NBCOT) required within two years of hire
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
