Job Summary:
The Choctaw Nation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Staff Member to join our team. As a key member of our casino operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock and maintain housekeeping supplies, ensuring a clean and well-stocked environment for our guests and staff.
- Operate cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Empty wastebaskets, ashtrays, and transport trash and waste to disposal areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Wash windows, sills, door panels, walls, ceiling, and woodwork to maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
- Clean biohazard materials, following proper protocols and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and directing guests to the appropriate department.
- Assist in cleaning problem areas, working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve issues.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in Environmental Services or Housekeeping in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of chemical composition, structure, and properties, as well as cleaning machines and tools.
- General knowledge of cleaning requirements in the hospitality industry.
- Understanding of government public health regulations.
