Job Summary
">Rutherford Regional Health System, a 143-bed acute care facility, is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a night shift basis. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, assessing and treating patients with breathing disorders, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
">About the Role
">This full-time position requires an Associate's Degree (or equivalent technician program) in Respiratory Care, as well as current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, a minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a RRT is preferred.

- Deliver and assess response to ordered therapy per plan of care">
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate">
- Adhere to respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices">
- Respond to codes and calls for emergent assistance">
- Educate patients and families about their illness and provide information about disease">
