Location Manager

Norder Supply is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Location Manager to oversee the daily agronomy operations of our location. This is a key role that requires strong leadership, management, and technical skills to ensure the efficient running of our operations.

• General Management
  • Assist salesmen and applicators in achieving objectives and promoting professionalism and teamwork.
  • Implement company policies and procedures, operate within budget guidelines, and communicate regularly with management concerning location and company objectives.
  • Responsible for searching out new employees and the interview process associated.
• Custom Application
  • Work with other locations to share equipment and personnel to maximize efficiency during custom application and other seasonal activities.
  • Schedule time of application, make maps, check field and weather conditions, and potentially part-time tending to aid custom applicators.
• DOT Requirements
  • Maintain all log books, time sheets, CDL license, medical cards, and other DOT requirements.
  • Maintain vehicle and delivery equipment to DOT standards and notify supervisor of any repairs needed to maintain equipment.
• Facility Operations
  • Operate fork lifts, scales, pumps, and all other equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Load/unload deliveries/shipments, manage bulk and package chemicals, dry and liquid fertilizer, and bulk seed treatment equipment.
  • Keep acceptable quantities of site-specific inventory on hand and deliver products to other locations and customers.
• Shared Accountabilities
  • Maintain all aspects of equipment and facilities so that they are in excellent working condition for their respective seasons.

• Knowledge of application equipment, precision placement equipment, and application procedures of products.
• General knowledge of sales and management skills.
