Key Responsibilities:
Patient Support:
Engage in nursing activities that encompass patient assessment, education, and advocacy, ensuring that each patient receives personalized care.
Administrative Duties:
Establish and maintain a database to track critical metrics of multi-disciplinary clinics, including new patient appointments, second opinions, newly diagnosed cases, referral trends, presentation stages, patient satisfaction, and clinical trial participation.
Effective Communication:
Foster clear communication with patients, families, colleagues, and external stakeholders to guarantee exceptional patient care and support.
Professional Growth:
Identify opportunities for training and development for both yourself and your team. Propose relevant development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- Certification in CPR from the American Heart Association.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification is highly preferred.
