The Role

Tax Services Associate

You will serve as a member of various client service teams, receiving both formal and on-the-job training to hone and develop your technical skills.

In addition to the preparation of tax returns, you will participate in the tax planning and consultation process for clients.

You will work as part of a team of problem solvers with vast consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve complex business issues.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Research tax laws, rules, and regulations and analyze their application to specific situations.
  • Participate in select phases of tax compliance engagements.
  • Proactively seek guidance, clarification, and feedback.
  • Support select projects demonstrating creative thinking and individual initiative while working as a team member.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while exercising professional skepticism.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Strong leadership, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • A self-starter with initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communication.

Salary Information:

$62,000 - $80,000 per year.

Prior to starting full-time, it is preferred that students will be eligible to sit for the primary credential exam appropriate for relevant practice area.
