About the Job

Carnegie Post Acute Care is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team in Princeton, NJ. As a Speech Therapist, you will work collaboratively with our therapy teams and Rehab Department to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete evaluations and necessary documentation
  • Provide recommendations supporting communications and assessments
  • Offer treatments that help improve patients' speech and/or dysphagia and overall ability to communicate
  • Independently manage workflow, including allotting time for treatment documentation and notes in the electronic records system
  • Familiar with PDPM and SLP screening
  • Align therapy treatments and plans with understanding of Medicaid and Medicare billing
Qualifications:
  • New Jersey SLP License
  • Background/experience in long term care (specifically a Skilled Nursing Facility)
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities and ability levels
  • Creative problem-solving skills
