Job Summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor - Store Operations to oversee the production process and personnel assigned to that process. This role is responsible for meeting established production/sales quotas/goals, ensuring quality control, and implementing strategies to meet product acquisition, production, and sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign, direct, and ensure completion of daily tasks for production/department team members.
  • Train new team members on production expectations and processes.
  • Provide quality control inspections to ensure only the best product makes it to the floor.
  • Track and report production at scheduled times.
  • Participate in production processes as needed.
  • Implement assigned strategies to meet product acquisition, production, and sales goals.
  • Communicate with assigned personnel to place supply orders for next day's processing.
  • Support management with store maintenance and appearance.
  • Follow procedures for maintenance and safety concerns.
  • Look for ways to improve donor and shopper experience.
  • Communicate with Store Management regarding all facets of the store's operations.
  • Support management in creating a positive understanding of policies and procedures.
  • Direct complaints and criticism to management.
  • Implement Product Control Procedures to prevent shrinkage through theft or spoilage.
  • Control property, utility, and product supply waste.
